| All of the above have cracks caused by freezing. These eggs may still be suitable for eating, as long as they are washed while still frozen, and eaten within a few days. Do not eat these eggs raw. Make sure they are cooked. | |||

 This goose egg has cracks that seem to have happened before the egg was laid, as the cracks seem just under the surface. It is possible the cracks came about as the result of some trauma to the goose (she may have fallen or run into something) before she even laid the egg. |
